This sounds like something the guys in the black helicopters would say to you after the remove the flying object from your field, "It was just swamp gas". Instead the guys at DMOZ got their heads together yesterday with a team of Google engineers and decided that having your home page disappear from the index was just "part of an index recognizing, adjusting and updating in real time"So we are lead to believe that adjusting from the non-www or the www, or Google will dump your home page while they figure it out. I don't think so.

6 Vote(s)

I haven't checked to see if this is even a working rendition of the exploit, but I find it interesting that someone would put up a site claiming to be able to automate a known exploit. Is it just for attention? Is it so Google closes the door on it? Note that the site is indexed, 2 hours ago minty fresh type indexing. From the site:GProxy hacking toolThere is an exploit in Google's algorithm that has been known for over a year, which is still very much active, whereas you can remove URLs from Google's search results. Google thus far has chosen to do nothing about it, so why not automate the process?

13 Vote(s)
