I was just reading Vanessa Fox's recent post about privacy on Facebook and how they are now gonna be open up to the search engines. Since I do enjoy myspace, it make me question how Myspace was being indexed. I Googled the URL of a known private profile. Sure enough Google had it indexed. Obviously if you click directly to the profile you cannot get in, however, upon clicking Cached - you can see the whole profile. So what is Myspace up to? My apologies if this is an old topic, but it sure isn't a corrected issue.

4 Vote(s)

Mark Cuban made his $2.3 billion fortune as an internet entrepreneur and now in a recent Portfolio.com interview, Cuban says the internet is "dead and boring". "We have reached the point of diminishing returns with today's internet. The speed of broadband to your home won't increase much more in the next five years than it has in the last five years. That is not enough to work as a platform for new levels of applications that will require much, much higher levels of bandwidth."

16 Vote(s)

We all know that the fabulous people using Sphinn are marketers. We also know that we, as marketers, are blood-sucking desperate link mongers who will do anything for a good link right? (okay, so i may have gone a little too far with that description)My question is, how many of the topics submitted over the next week or two will just be re-hashed articles written over the last year or even before then? I realize just because its old doesn't mean its not relevant and I know Danny won't be complaining about all the content coming his way. But it will be interesting to see if Sphinn gets slammed (or spammed) or will this site be used for more current information -- which is the whole point, right?

4 Vote(s)
