Google says they are not currently planning on running Audio Ads on satellite radio because they generate their own revenue with subscription fees. While that is accurate, it is not the entire picture. Satellite radio only has commercial-free music channels, the rest of the entertainment and sports channels run regular ads. If the XM / Sirius merger goes through, they will have a real potential to take over the radio market and Google is gonna want in on the action.

2 Vote(s)

Power Mailer although from the email I really can't tell what is so special. As one of the few in our Power User program, you can take advantage of some new, complimentary features that we've added to your Mail account. It's our way of saying thanks for being such a loyal user. * 20MB message capacity. * 24/7 live support online - real time support * Priority email support. Shoot us an email, and your premium status will move you up in the queue.I love this part:"The Power User program is a pilot program and access to these features is available for a limited period of time. Yahoo! may discontinue the program or one's status as a Power User at any time and without notice. Also, Power User status will automatically end when an account expires or is terminated."

3 Vote(s)

Since I do enjoy myspace, it make me question how Myspace was being indexed. I Googled the URL of a known private profile. Sure enough Google had it indexed. Obviously if you click directly to the profile you cannot get in, however, upon clicking Cached - you can see the whole profile. So what is Myspace up to? (okay, so i may have gone a little too far with that description)My question is, how many of the topics submitted over the next week or two will just be re-hashed articles written over the last year or even before then? I realize just because its old doesn't mean its not relevant and I know Danny won't be complaining about all the content coming his way. But it will be interesting to see if Sphinn gets slammed (or spammed) or will this site be used for more current information -- which is the whole point, right?

4 Vote(s)

I'm sure this has come up before but I have never really discussed it with anyone. I bought a domain name awhile back. One of those spur of the moment ideas and then I did nothing with it. Well this morning I just happened to see that my domain name has been crawled by Google:radio music electronics mp3 car at radiobait.comstereo free radio talk headphones home audio sub woofer car.www.radiobait.comApparently my registrar uses those automatic place holders that looks like crap. Is there any harm here?

2 Vote(s)

Well now that Threadwatch is gone, I know a bunch of us marketers are looking for a place to fill the gap. My bet is that Sphinn has the best chance. It gets away from the tired old forum and blog format and gives us a Social Media style outlet were we can interact a little bit more without getting editing out.

35 Vote(s)
