Well today I will be doing a write up of the networks that do not use Direct Track and why, they have a far better reporting than DT networks.

1 Vote(s)

There has been several ways for twitter users to make money. Some of the ideas are retarded and more are really pointless, IMO. Joel Comm will soon be releasing a book about twitter in February called Twitter Power . It will basically talk about how to dominate your market one tweet at a time. Why not dominate it now! There are ways to make money with twitter without all the mess and it is pretty simple.

1 Vote(s)

So my excel video did pretty good that I got emails to help with excel and keyword manipulation. I think I should get a job with the infomercial guy "The Video Professor!" So there were some emails on creating excel formulas on keywords and how to track and how to see conversion and all that stuff. Well Google Adwords gives you all that information, impressions, clicks, CTR, etc.But I decided there were a lot of noobs out there that want to learn how PPC keywords work. There were emails where someone asked about how to determine CTR and CPC, I simply redirected them to the Google Adwords section or Wikipedia. What is the point of asking when you do not know the basics? I learned by reading and understanding how these functions worked, thus creating excel tools for my benefits.Well since there are newbies out there that want to learn I decided to go ahead and create a simple Google Docs file for everyone to view and learn from. Everyone needs examples and actual tools to look at. Some people learn by looking while other learn by reading. I learn by taking what I read and just playing around and testing.

1 Vote(s)

Starting my vacation I had to pack and get ready for my flight to Panama City. I was staying at Panama for 7 days. So I packed comfortably for my vacation. This sounds familiar, starting a blog or vacation needs preparation.Where did I want to go when I decided to go on vacation? What do you want to blog about? Did I have all the necessary items before boarding my flight? Do you have all the necessary resources to start blogging?

1 Vote(s)

Ok this will be the last post about BlogRush because I am tired of reading about it on the internet (hopefully). I have found that this little widget really will not work because of several factors and I will list and discuss them. I also have created a mini Google Spreadsheet of my data from last night.I also found that this really did not match up with my Google Analytics Stats. I will also do a little comparison from my current analytics vs my current BlogRush stats. Well here are some reason why I found my BlogRush CTR low. * My Headers Need to be More Attractive * Everyone Puts their Widget in Bad Part of their Website * Displays Links on ANY blog * 5 Links are very minimal * Stumblers of StumbleUpon * Unable to Adjust Widget

3 Vote(s)

I noticed the same blogs were being posted among other blogs as well as my own. So I started thinking does this really help the little guys? If impressions = views, then the big guys and the guys who first signed up are benefited. This alone is just the non tier, if popular blogs sign up more blogs under them imagine their views among the blogosphere!

3 Vote(s)

All day I have been getting emails about a new system called BlogRush. I have been reading all about this at ShoeMoney, JohnChow, Entrepreneurs Journey, etc. So I decided to go a head and just join. You have all probably heard about it from emails and even from all your popular blogs. Since it is everywhere I will not repeat what everyone have already said.Well I am adding to it since its all over the blogosphere. I did not want to add this to my blog since I think it will destroy the neatness of my blog. In any case I have managed to put it in an area where it is attracting and does not bother the layout too much. I was actually going to create a pop up for this, but I know how annoying they can be.

2 Vote(s)

It is interesting to see how readers will just fake stats/numbers to get some traffic or subscribers. A blog that has trackbacked to me, gets a free unique visit from me. Why? I want to see what they wrote about my blog, content, or about me. I was curios. So I went to the blog and looked at the post. (I usually always visit blogs that track back to me) In the bottom right hand corner of my Firefox browser Alexa showed me a website ranking of a4no data'. If you do not know what I am talking about here are 2 screen shots of Alexa's new Sparky Plugin...

8 Vote(s)

When it comes to internet marketing and blogging, I tend to keep it realistic because why should I market false news and tactics? The a4make money online' niche is just very saturated over the internet. Some just start because they read these ebooks which tells them they can earn thousands of dollars over the internet in just a couple weeks. When there are no results they just quit. But making money online is real, "just leave the bullcrap at home" says Mark Wielgus. I have actually started reading Mark's blog at 45n5.com. What attracted me to his blog were his comments on marketing, straight to the point posts, and funny but real videos.Mark was the first to contact me on an issue with an email he has received automatically from my blog. Later in the conversation I asked if he would like to be interviewed by me. I was interested in his domain name and his personality as an author and marketer. I was excited when he accepted.

2 Vote(s)

Within Facebook there is something called a news feed, mini feed and status. These 3 things are really helpful since it provides free exposure to all your friends within your networks. Each one provides a good feed back of what all your friends are doing as well; what website your friends viewed (widget required), who they became friends with, what their status is, etc. These 3 things prove to be very helpful for exposure.Since Facebook tracks all of your activities - your whole network knows. It is like a form of gossip, which is why I think Facebook is very popular. Ian visit this website, Ian is friends with a4, Ian is in a relationship witha4, etc. This form of communication is pretty viral, it is digital gossip. As we know, traditionally, gossip is bad. With Facebook I think its great! The best form of advertising is by word of mouth - so Facebook fixes this problem by simply just gossiping about you to all your friends. If your friends are interested with the specific gossip Facebook provided to them they will tend to try to see what you did. With that said let us talk about the 3 gossip attributes Facebook implements.

4 Vote(s)

I prefer to market on FaceBook because it isn't overcrowded. There are limited items within the FaceBook MarketPlace. The best part about the marketplace is your item gets rotated on everyone's main page once they log on to FaceBook. Near the right hand side under New Stuff it will list an item that has recently been submitted in your network! That is important, depending what network you are in they will only show you items that were submitted within your area or network. For example let's say a college student want to sell his last semester book to a new student, he list it on FaceBook. Since he is part of his school name's network only the students that log on under that specific network will see it.Now, if you are part of a bigger network, let say a county of your state. You will see more recent listing than one who is part of a college network. Facebook was geared toward college communities only, and now they have expanded their network so everyone can join. Since we know having a big network is important, as this matters when you are trying to sell or promote a product.

1 Vote(s)

I was just informed by a fellow reader by the name of Yehuda Berlinger about Text Links Ads are doing away from TinyUrl. Yehuda has left a comment on my post about the response I received from TLA. She says TLA is working on a better solution and we do not have to change our affiliate links! This is causing so much confusion among bloggers. It has caused some confusion to me as well that I decided to confirm this as well. I emailed Brock again and asked if this is so. He stated it is, saying it was released late last week.
