This is said with love of Sphinn, and meant to be constructive...Several times I've tried to submit an URL,such as the SEOmoz one a few minutes ago, and when if it's a duplicate submission, I get a message. Fair enough, it's to be expected. But the link that tells me I can go vote on the original entry doesn't take me to the original Sphinn entry. It takes me to some weird search list of Sphinn entries. What gives? It can't be that hard to query the database for the connected Sphinn entry. Or maybe it can. I haven't dug into Pligg enough to be sure.Because of this, I've reduced my attempts to submit stories from blogs I don't write for. It's idiotic, but I don't have time to waste searching for the actual entry - which has never been on that first page of search results (for me anyway).I hope you fix this soon, please and thanks, because as the site grows, I'm guessing dup entries will be a common occurrence. Something like this can only hinder submissions.I'll keep trying, but it's frustrating, along with all the page errors I've been getting on Sphinn on and off for nearly two weeks.

4 Vote(s)

Since link building at the very least can bring traffic, this article reviews some effective ways to do both. Those of you that are more experienced probably will not find a lot of new techniques here. However, what I've done is tried to find authority articles to link to from each tip. I know that many of the articles linked to are written by active Sphinn members.[This is my very first Sphinn submission, though I've been an active member for a few weeks. If I've done something wrong, I welcome some constructive input. Thanks in advance.]

8 Vote(s)
