Along with the ongoing explosion of the Twitter Microblogging network (and the eyeballs that come with) come the brands that want to make their presence known with as many influential customers as possible. There are of course countless methodologies on how to judge the quality of a brands twitter account and I'm going to be adding my own into the fold.

2 Vote(s)

RSS readers are incredibly useful tools to keep up to date with news relevant to your interests. That being said, sometimes the amount of information becomes unwieldy to sift through. Enter Snackr, a tool that attempts to bring a constant stream of information to your desktop in conjunction with your other apps. I'm still debating whether or not this tool is just a more graphically pleasing version of a RSS reader with no greater substance, but quite frankly it is pretty.

3 Vote(s)

Odds are if you're reading this blog, then you're one of the many people who has adopted "social tools" in your daily life. You use twitter to stay connected to the random quips of your friends and colleagues, facebook to track photo albums, and rss readers to put some sort of order into the chaotic world of bloggers. Alas, our good friends at eMarketer have predicted that ad spend on social networks is going to see a decline. So assuming the Zuckerbergs, Dorseys, and Andersons of the world don't want to keep these popular web components running off of their spare change, perhaps subscriptions are not out of the question. Question is, how much would YOU be willing to spend to maintain your current social media lifestyle? I've certainly seen comments across the web that people would be willing to pay to use Twitter. But how much? Do me and the community a favor and answer the four questions. Perhaps we'll be surprised.

3 Vote(s)
