You don't get 100% attention when you buy an ad. In fact, you don't 50% attention or even 1%. If you're very very good and very lucky, it might be .1% but it's more likely to be one in 10,000. Which is exactly the right number, it turns out, to make advertising work. Any lower and you couldn't afford it, any higher and everyone would need a warehouse, not a house, to store all the stuff they bought.

2 Vote(s)

Well, once more, being the curious lovable lover of long lists that I was lead in search of the top performing websites in search engines. Well, after searching vigorouusly, I found that very data, presented using a great customizable webscraper called Velocityscape. Velocityscape appears to have a suite of powerful data gathering tools. Definitely worth the download of the demos at least. Spyfu, for example - an Alexa style web data repository - is powered by Velocityscape macros. I will strive to keep this data updated and repost it every now and then.

7 Vote(s)

Now because I lack the time/ resources to do this (aka I'm too lazy to do it right now) I am giving away this free viral video idea because it's currently topical. Take the best 10 from this list - that has apparently been circulating the Internet, find examples from famous moviesa4splice them together..intro each video with a count down no./caption (like a VH1 countdown) and viola! You're in viral video central! Just post me a comment on when it's done and I will give you a link.

3 Vote(s)
