I just gained my 400th fan on StumbleUpon and thought I would share a few things I have learned. The next time someone posts advice about how to use Stumble, take a look at their account and track their activity. After all, you wouldn't take dieting advice off a fat man would you?

Ok so then how do you leverage StumbleUpon for your clients if every post pertains to SEO/SEM? For example, if your client is in the medical industry, their site won't belong within your account. So the only value that I can see here is a strong niche network, which seems pretty limiting especially if you have a lot of clients.

I've largely ignored stumbleupon as a traffic source. That is until recently. After a few days of figuring things out I received several hundred hits in one day. The traffic has been fairly steady since then. I'll have to apply some of the things from this article in an attempt to raise those numbers even more.
