In a followup to the Forrester report on paid blog advertising via sponsoring the conversation in blogposts, Google’s Matt Cutts has weighed in a bit on the conversation, reiterating his stance on paid blog posting.

There allways will be "google killer" - paid links. A think it’s better for google to create their own "pepsi cola" - link selling system on google rules.

Google hate competition. A paid link means that there is less money for PPC. It is like a bus line wants to make cabs illegal. They want to pack you into a smelly over crowded bus that don’t take you where you want to go. They claim that cabs on the street are bad and push to limit them. Finally pass a law that you cannot  call cabs over a phone. Google is a monopoly. It is like a certain cable company that wants to force all households to pay for cable to prevent cable theft, and they want to make satellite illegal.
