A while back while reading one of the numerous paid link debates, I had a random thought (not shared on Twitter) as to whether a certain type of "link barter" would violate Google’s TOS. I felt compelled to blow that idea out into a full-length story.

Please let me repeat...it’s fiction :.)

I have often said that there should be nothing wrong with paying for links.  Choose the link you want, go after it, and if you have to pay for it decide whether the price is right ... whether it’s money,. a reciprocal link, free samples or fun.
