A nifty trick you probably weren't aware of to use Google to search Creative Commons licensed content. Handy for finding images quickly that are free to use.

Interesting that these search options are not available under Google Image search but only the Web search the same is true with Yahoo

The problem is that it's a lot harder for the search engines to know who owns the image. With content it's easier (though of course not 100%) to know the original source, with images you could have copied and pasted from somewhere else so even if your blog is CC licensed your images may not be.
