I like the advice here on adding the RT hat tips *after* the message ("Front Loaded Retweets" as Edward terms them). That is a more sensible practice considering the title char limits in place.

Also try to remember to limit the post to 120 characters for viral purposes. It leaves enough room for a RT without the message truncating. I hate having to modify the post when RT and it may cause users to not RT it.
