Jon Mendez shares a great guide to using Facebook Flyers Pro, and says: "...black-hat affiliates were setting up hundreds of accounts to get past the daily spend limits and that a number of them were pocketing over $15k per week in commissions the first two weeks using Flyers Pro."

Matt, I don't think I've seen "black hat" associated with PPC before...sure, they are breaking the rules by using multiple accounts, but that isn't traditional "black hat", is it?

There are lots of black hats involved in PPC. Some might say they built AdSense. ;)

Some might even say they built AdWords (through click fraud).

Lots of folks live on the dark side, not just SEO.

Regardless of the black hat debate, I'm going to see if this Facebook Flyers thing will be a good tool to marketing my wife's real estate business. I love the incredibly deep geo-targeting you described in the post, Jon.

The key word here is the WERE making $15k a week. Facebook has caught on and has shut it down.

Facebook shut that down within 2 days. Hardly new that someone would take advantage of a new traffic system.

Mikkel wrote a very good article back in '05 on blackhat PPC - worth linking here again:

Thanks for sharing!  The screencaps made the article even more valuable.
