I wonder if spammers / hackers use Wordpress blog directories as a launching pad to find wordpress blogs on which to exploit security holes. Or is that more trouble than just running a query on Google and starting there?
Thankis for the help on WP. It is becoming the standard platform for many bloggers.
There are tons of ways to drive traffic and gather links with WordPress which is why it is one of the most popular and used open source platforms. @everett over the years WordPress itself has only had 7 security risks that have been fixed pretty quick. Most security issues arise from plugins with known vulnerabilities. Leanne
