I read through that and thought man, I am one annoying individual. I think I scored on each of them with the exception of the last, "The Shameless Spammer". I haven’t tried that one yet. Probably won’t either. :) This one is definitely worth the read folks. As you read through each of the 10 worst kinds of comment saboteur it makes you start to think if you fit the descriptions presented. I mean, I’m sure each and every one of us fit at least 2-3 of the worst kinds. ;)Am I annoying you yet?
@pageoneresults - I think you should have your own category "Regulator: Keeping the Sphinn community on their toes and safe from bad submissions" ...Although, I think that probably could annoy some people too :P
I guess Greg would find me annoying, too, sometimes. I agree with much of what he says, but I toitally, 100% disagree with "the hijacker". What does Greg think is the point is of submitting great content to Sphinn or Digg if we don’t promote the submission? If somebody is kind enough to submit my blog post to a social site becasue they want "additional votes", they better tell me so I can help vote it up, too. I certainly hope they’ll tweet the submission and shout it from the mountains. let them please take full pride of ownership for tyhe marketing of my content. This is no hijacker and please don’t call this person a "polite SPAMer" -- this is a marketing partner.
@amabaie - I think you have the concept a little bit wrong. When I say "hijacker" I mean someone that is deliberatley coming in to steal your momentum. That would be like if you came into this sphinn submission and made the first comment "Great list - Reminds me alot of my article "social media news and best prectices for you" with a link in it.It isn’t about promoting the submission, rather promoting your submission from someone else’s. Hope that clears it up!

Great list, I think most of us have "felt" like a few of those before.
You know - I think learning about how to market in this new space means we are all going to make a few of those mistakes. I have sent a link to your article to the comment marketers on my staff! Great stuff!
Youtube has a lot of annoying people, However our DIGG is king/queen as in drama queen......
