That would be interesting. I wonder if the idea won't be fought both by the FCC and other ISPs.

The thing that nobody is realizing relates not to search results, but to the implications if Google dominates the wireless world and then integrates cell phone data (i.e. gps) with Google Earth! This story here on Sphinn http://sphinn.com/story/1056 starts that discussion...

Google's power with such a purchase would be unbelievable. And yet, the ability for us, as consumers, to have such an open network is tempting. I don't know how to feel about this.

It would be very useful to have access to internet from   wireless services. And it is great to have Internet Giant google to bid for this service. It will surely improve the accesibility of internet from wireless phones.
