There are a lot of blogs out there that offer this exact advice already. Places like Copyblogger.com, for example. Not really a unique article, but useful and valuable information that every writer should be reminded of from time to time - thank you for sharing this with us all.

Well, its a decent blog entry but far too many links to other places for my liking, its good to link out but its sometimes distracting from the actual post Just some constructive criticism i hope you can see :)
Nice article - I actually had someone trying to convince me that if a post didnt have at least 300 words, it was going to get bounced into supplementals. Today, I forwarded him a link to your post, which backed up my argument at the time
I agree completely with blogging about your experiences you have in social communities. To often we read "theory post without someone giving a real life example of what they did and the results that they saw.
