This is a wonderful list!
Thanks for the compliment and comment Danny! Glad you like it.
Excellent compilation.
Nice post Matt - it looks like youve got quite the ecommerce punch-list put together! Maybe the next post can be about How to Manage Your Products in 73 Places Online? Thats got to be VERY challenging.
nice post, this list will come in handy...
Wow, do I ever need this. Thanks muchly.
very impressive
Thanks for the Sphinns every one, hope you get some use out of my list and share it with others! It will stay updated, so if you think something should be added, let me know. @ ryanlash - Yes, I never really have tried them all at once, it would be interesting. Usually I stager them starting with the most popular or free ones and moving from there based on where I think the audiences will appreciate the products most. I will come up with something for you though RE: managing tons at once!
Nice compilation, thanks for sharing!
Are you open to a suggestion, if it ever gets recompiled in the future? Itd be nice to know which sites are appropriate for B2B, B2C, or both. (I have a couple of strictly B2B clients who are looking for places to submit their products other than Google Base and Thomas, but they really dont see the need to be in primarily B2C search engines) Just a thought - its a great list as is.
Thanks for doing all the leg work for us. This saves me hours. I needed to research this anyway.
@ netmeg - Yes, I like your idea. Maybe in a future update we can consider it. There are literally many ways we could have organized and labeled the list, however I tried to keep it narrowed down to the most used or most popular B2C sites. I could have included a section for auction sites, but opted to add them in with the popular CSEs instead, so it was pretty well thought out IMO. I know what you mean, so maybe we can get a B2B cat up sometime, Ill mark it on my 2dolist! @ JasonBartholme - Glad you appreciate the work that went in Jason. Hopefully it comes in handy for you sometime! Makes researching a lot easier IMO.
Thank you so much - youve saved me many hours of work. Hours that will now be put to better use enjoying the company of my 11 month old daughter. :)
great stuff. i havent checked them all out yet, but im bookmarking the list - and sphinning!
Nice list. (Note that "NexTag" is not spelled correctly on the page. The link works right.) We worked with the comparison shopping sites quite a bit while we were creating the software "MegaFeeder". Unfortunately, it is a lot of work keeping all your products updated in so many places.
I wanted to add MoGiZ.com which is by far the best place online to list products. Not only can you list them for a very small upfront fee in comparison to any other site, there are not pay per click, pay per impression or pay per action fees. They also pay for all transaction fees, credit card fees, etc. The only cost to the seller is the one time annual product listing fee.
