I love that another arrogant omniture idiot desphun this because they call it a ’fluff article blaming omniture because it’s more tool than people can handle’. A Bugatti is more machine than I can handle too - and guess what? I don’t need either. Neither do you. 0.001% of websites need a tool as powerful as omniture - and yet, many more use it, because people with money need to spend money to feel they’re getting their moneys worth from the money they’re spending.I don’t hate omniture - It’s nice and powerful and a necessary tool in some situations (though pointless 99.9% of the time), What I hate is the attitude of omniture elitists - which I believe is, for the most part, born out of the need to protect their own job and interests, because they’re the only ones at a company who can use omniture - god forbid marketers themselves should be able to look at and manipulate data to draw conclusions, noooo, we need a technical numbskull who couldn’t sell cold beer at a baseball game trying to extract actionable insights. Honestly, you’re worse than mac fanboys.

Amen i will always remember the day when i was looking for the average page views for the organic traffic in the omniture account of a clientI was told to contact omniture and ask for a new filter or Evar or something lol
