In kind of an offbeat story this weekend, Google announced on Friday that the company has contracted California Grazing, a goat herding company, in an effort to make their pastures … and their carbon emissions, a bit greener.

Goats have long been used in California as a sound alternative to clearing weeds and grass without needing to use mowers. Google’s hardly a trendsetter, nor does I think it deserves some of the folks who have been laughing at it, over this.
