Sebastien gives a quality rant on how, in his opinion, BlogRush falls far short of their stated mark. And others chime in similarly as the list of the disappointed seems to grow.

This is a very astute synopsis of another "amazing!" blog widget that claims to potentially flood one's blog with traffic. These widgets are not all managed alike and, as is more commonplace than people might realize, they encounter their fair share of problems.

Yes, and we should get use to this sort of thing when a TECH solution is attempted by a non-tech guy.  In my experience, marketers are EGO-driven as opposed to techies who are, almost always, PROCESS-driven.  So something like BLOGRUSH gives a marketer another "notch" in his belt to brag about on the NEXT venture.  It has nothing to do with satisfied customers and everything to do with a finely-tuned, well-managed list.  If that were obvious from the get-go, I think less people would "rush" to put the latest-greatest apps on their blogs and do a little more research first.
