With all this Page Rank stuff I thought i wandered into Digital Point.... :)
lolWell just remember that people at DP have blogs that they can give links from
"I’ve had confirmation now from two sources at Google that this latest round of updates was ALL about the selling of text links."I like Darrens take on the whole thing.Like I posted somewhere else, when manual reviewers enter the picture the wrong sites can get penalized, because each reviewer works with his own little book of rules. I understand that manual review needs to take place to weed out false positives, but this update proved manual review is far from bulletproof. If an AdWords reviewer can mistake a legit site for a "crack/hacker" site, then a Google spam reviewer can mistake a legit ad for link spam.
Well with the general TBPR update today, the little thermometer looks even more broke. Im seeing new websites that had languished at PR0 for months now jump to PR3. That compares with fine sites like SERoundtable that is now at PR4.Perhaps Google should do some explaining about what this little gizmo is trying to show. Its as clear as mud to me.
My blogs PR jumped from 0 to 3 :).Ive actually accumulated quite a few backlinks, none paid, most in blog posts. Still, Big Bucks Blogger is obviously not only 1 PR off SERoundtable or Andy Beard, Niche Marketing!Maybe things will keep moving around for a week or so.
