Great post by Debra, I definitely know the feeling. If all link building strategies are widely known and nothing new, then why do I see so little people using multiple of these strategies at the same time for their websites?
I think when people come to link building and link building articles theyve got their estimates off. So your tips seems like real work to get real links :) Like Jim Boykin said: "If a ninja were able to get 10 links for any one site in a week I’d be impressed. [...] ninjas are getting links the best way, they’re analyzing and writing and not pushing buttons [...] get a great link and watch your rankings jump faster than all your push button efforts combined."
@RuudAnyone whos been in sales and cold-called knows how hard it is to just get a foot in the door never mind see the right person, make a pitch and get the sale. Emailing online isnt any different so we have all kinds of little "tricks" we use to grease that path.I know I sound like a broken record but what Im saying works for us time and time again - how you market and promote your products offline will work online, you just have to adjust and handle differently. @WiepI know you understand Wiep ;)
