Thanks for putting this up. Ive been hearing alot about Wordpress blogs getting hacked, and I think if Wordpress users looked at this article they could definitly gain some insight.
Firefox gives me a "Reported Attack Site" warning when I try to visit the source article.oops
@axemedia - What is ironic is that this post was mostly written as a result of having been infected with a virus last week. We have since cleaned site and locked down the server the site is hosted on.I was fearful of Google tagging the site with a "harmful site" tag and had been checking it daily for last 2 weeks or so. It is only last couple of days I have not checked and really should of this morning before publishing a post on Wordpress security. Now Im waiting for Google to respond to a review request so they can hopefully remove the warning. Oh the irony... the irony!
Chrome kicked up the malware warning for me as well just now..Waiting to read the article..
Fantastic post, especially love the Wordpress Firewall plugin. Wish the WordPress would make this stuff standard.
Update: Google has removed the malware warning. Should not trigger any more warnings. We apologize for any inconveniences.
