Microsoft’s search engine Bing, announced today, is certainly different; it does things in new ways and brings a fresh approach to search. Whether this will create a seismic shift of users from that search monolith Google is another story and only time will tell.

I think it may steal some traffic from Google but the search results were a little strange as far as how complex there system is. I found a few sites ranking for competitive keywords that had a PR of 2, weren’t real optimized, and most of their backlinks were spam. I think the basic nature will be appealing to many but for now I will probably stick with Google. Just like many internet profesionals you need to use the search engine that is bringing you the most traffic and I am thinking that will be Google for awhile.
