Actually I just did a test and it’s insanely inaccurate.  For my blog it lists all the sites on the same server.  I’m on a shared hosting server and own NONE of the other sites listed.  What a sham.

This is what has kept me from using google adsense on more sites. Google should allow me to segment my accounts. Sadly this will cause people to try to place adsense on less sites.

Alan, it does have a disclaimer stating that all the sites on the same IP are not necessarily owned by the same person due to shared hosting. In my case you can see many sites hosted on Squarespace as mine is. Cecilia, it’s a good point about AdSense. As an alternative (other than joining different contextual ad networks for each site) there are Amazon’s Omakase units. These are partly contextual and partly behavioral -- if the visitor to your site is cookied to Amazon it will display items based on his Amazon searches. Pro: Amazon lets you create distinct affiliate IDs. Con - your user may then see items that don’t mesh well with your site content.
