Yesterday, Digg announced the release of “Digg Ads” a new advertising platform that will hopefully pull their finances out of the red. What is different about this form of advertising on Digg, is that it is the first time that they have mixed the content in with the ads.

hmm, I just gave advertising on facebook a shotI’ll test this out as well.how does this interactive ad work?diggers can vote my add up or down?sounds frightening... too many entitlement happy anti capitalism marxist spam nazis and your ad is sunk?Or will being voted down lower your cost per click?hmm, the possibilities of advertising not to get a click but to brand your company in the public eye...I’m thinking...
