Hmm. Keep track on twitter, wait about a week and update the clicks/users because 1k visitors from Twitter seems very low, especially since someone with 2mil followers tweeted.Getting 1k visitors from tweets is easier, if one engages their followers. Some big hitters (~30k followers+) say 1-5% CTR on a link. Thats just 1 person. All youd need to do is find 1-4 power twitters (30k+ followers) and youll see 1k+ uniques easy.Props to getting the tweet from Ashton but Im surprised the results werent better. :/
Hi Joshua, Twitter.com itself has now sent just under 9,000 visitors not includng the knock on traffic from sites that pull his feed, altogether the story has had 16,000 unique page views and there are 60 comments on it. I dont know any blogs that send that much traffic in a regular post, maybe Huff Post. Digg homepages dont even always send that much.
Or the bandwidth sucking, no conversion giving power of social media, LOL
