Recently Google announced they are experimenting with including Wikipedia in Google News. Personally I’m not a fan of Wikipedia, so I think this is the perfect opportunity to share some tactics on how to make Wikipedia a whole lot more fun.

What I found most interesting was the comments from the Wiki editorial folks. They really do seem to think they weild some sort of power. They show no understanding that individual SEOs use Wikipedia frequently and easily to their own purposes, but that individual Wikipedia editors only serve the needs of the Wiki and are otherwise impotent.
You have got to be kidding me. People around here really support this? Wikipedia is an excellent (and free!) resource. Detailing tactics of how to sabotage this site is bush league, but I would expect nothing less from the author."you just want to make the wikipedia article as dated and irrelevant to the general public for as long as possible"... wow, I would hate my life if this was how I spent my time and energy.
I don’t think Sphinn should condone this type of tactic. This article is lame.
