Wordpress by default “nofollows” all links within blog comments. While there are measures that can be taken to remove the rel=”nofollow” from links in Wordpress blog comments, it has typically been “all or nothing.”

Not any longer with a plug-in I came across that allows you to choose whether to follow or not on a case by case basis.

All blogs should be do-follow as all of mine are, it just takes a bit more effort to moderate though.  F-in spammers!

In a way I think do-follows may encourage more legitimate partecipation, and with some vigillent moderation it should work.

Hmm... I never even realized that nofollow was the default.  Here I thought people who commented on my blog would get a link out of it.  So where do I change the setting?  And do I dare?

@bookmama You need to download and install the WordPress plugin mentioned in the post or a similiar one, like dofollow, comment luv etc.
