Some eye-burning stuff there, but you’ve got to love Ling’s site. It’s the absolute epitome of a Chinese website - a massive amount of information shoehorned on to the page and sprinkled with animated graphics - but it’s got personality in spades.If you want lessons in how to carry out self-promotion talk to Ling. Ask nicely and she might even let you borrow her Nuclear Missile Truck...

Hey web developers have to start somewhere don’t they?  I used the wayback machine to check the original corporate site I designed back in the 90’s and it looks a lot like these examples...minus the hideous background images.
