After wrongly assuming some new features in my account were part of Yahoo's current site maintenance, I realised it was because I've recently submitted my site to Yahoo Site Explorer. This post now lists 5 reasons why you should authenticate your site instead, just in case anyone else is as slow as me! :)

Can't believe I was that slow! The extra info doesn't appear everytime though which seems odd.

Thanks for pointing it out, better change my blog post now :)

I always authenticate sites, I think I may have seen slight improvements in rankings from registering (could be coincidental).
