Thanks for sphinning this, Andy.  Having worked for some major corporations in my time, I know that most big corporations are largely trying to ’do the right thing’.  Some of them do it very well.  However the general public believes that big corporations are insensitive to the individual.  This is a particular challenge to Google since we are all now sensitized to identity theft and Google knows so much about each one of us.
