Being able to afford a social media consultant to navigate you around the world of social media can be very useful and time saving.

"Don’t get fooled by those just getting into it or are experts in other fields and merely dabble in social media marketing." Right on with this statement.

I honestly only know a small group of people i would even trust with my campaign for free. That group gets a lot smaller when money comes into it. Doing a social campaign wrong can end very very bad. However that said i am sure people can find the right consultant if they are looking. ;)

Social Media feels a lot like sales. When you first start you can natural sell cause you are so nervous and genuine that people trust you. Then you start to "get it" and lose that beginner’s touch. The mastery of it is being able to be genuine and trustworthy all the time (without stumbling over all the words and poring coffee on yourself ;)

I agree with you. I actually need one pretty badly and have not done my research in the field. I commented in the following post to give you an example. I wish I had more time to do these things myself, but my own businesses keep me very occupied. See my post in DoshDosh’s post http://sphinn.com/story/12219I think I will be hiring whomever can impress me the most, or maybe a few people to compete with eachother as competition always puts a fire under peoples a%#es.  If anyone has any thoughts or ideas, I’m all ears and willing to speak to quite a few of you this Monday or I can be e-mailed Sunday beforehand. I have further details in that post. my e-mail is lodispoto@gmail.com or manthony@successfuloffice.com
