Good list. For SEO 2.0 you only need 5 of them (while two are missing) though: http://sphinn.com/story/1245
Nice showing for Search Engine Land. Theres that "win" Danny. :)
Good list but I think http://seo-theory.com will be up there if you run the list again in a few months...
Thanks, Lee. After that last list that came out left us looking all sad and lonely, it was nice to be on the top!
A great list ... thank you for submitting it!
Thanks for the list. :)
That wasnt very nice of Tadeusz to plug his blog which did not include SEL in his top 5. Danny - I feel a storm brewing. I think its time to enable us to send future submissions to Sphinn Alley; you know...for crisis PR management purposes :).
Well, I am not into the flattering business. Besides, Search Engine Land is rather Search Engine News than a SEO blog.
"Search Engine Land is rather Search Engine News than a SEO blog." Youve apparently not read any of the columns that get posted each day?
Do you mean stuff like "Google & Other Search Apps For The iPhone", "Google Buys ImageAmerica, Mapping Feature War Continues", "Superpages Adds Video To Local Search Site" or "AOL To Acquire Behavioral Targeting Ad Network Tacoda" which is almost purely search news and does not really touch my daily business, especially as most of it is US only.
Heh. No storms, please :) Its perfectly fine to plug the list. People have different opinions, views, methodologies -- thats all fine. FYI, I think of SEL as both a news blog and an SEO Blog. We do have plenty of SEO. Aside from Matts column, checkout: http://searchengineland.com/lands/100-organic.php http://searchengineland.com/lands/google-seo.php http://searchengineland.com/lands/yahoo-seo.php http://searchengineland.com/lands/microsoft-live-search-seo.php http://searchengineland.com/lands/ask-seo.php http://searchengineland.com/seo.php Lee, I cant find that other list. You remember the URL to it? Lee, of course, has been doing a series of polls to list top site -- you should drop some links here to some of them. And if you want lots of blogs, you cant beat his big blog list: http://www.toprankblog.com/search-marketing-blogs/
SEL is totally a SEO blog just as much as any of the other blogs in that top 5 list. Danny, I think this is the other link you were thinking of. Its the Social Media Index from Edelman PR: http://www.sixtysecondview.com/?p=325 Below is a link to the polls weve been running. A summary is coming soon as well as an updated SEM Resources Survey. http://www.toprankblog.com/category/reader-polls/
Nice list and with only a few rearrangements it covers what I personally give the most attention to. It’s fun when quality can be quantified.
I found it in Daily Blog Tips and thought it might be useful. @Mattmcgee, Many blogs in that list is not a complete SEO blog. Pronet Advertising is a blog which talks a lot about Social Media and most of the blogs are like that.
I checked this weekends Doppler report; the new forecast is clear and sunny with an avg temp of a brisk 70 degrees.
Good stuff, thank you for posting .
