I want to know, especially those who already have a high pagerank in Google, the things you did for your blog to get noticed..

I am still a newbie in blogging industry as i started only last month..
I know i still need to learn a lot of things and i am open to any suggestions, comments, ideas and tips that other bloggers are willing to share with me..

I also want to ask you guys to visit my blog and give me a feedback about it..
How you find it.. The templates, the settings, the loading time.. An overall comment about my blog will be greatly appreciated.. Whether it is a positive or a negative one..

I just blogged for a little over 3 months and got a pr 4. Didn’t do anything special. Simply tried to write consistently quality content. Not a high rank, but not too bad. It’s just a shame I couldn’t care less about it.

I blogged and blogged and eventually got noticed by a big website that quoted my site as the press and since then it was good.

@bsd13- pr4? wow.. it is not that low as you will receive some paid to review adverts already from paid to blog programs..maybe i really need to make sure that my blog is updated always for me to get a pagerank...but i am not a writer who knows how to make a great article.. just about my everyday life...

Depends what you want from your blog and how much you’re willing to invest in it. If you happy with a blog that not many people read but will probably still get some traffic some PR etc just blog away (at least a couple of times a week) and read and comment on loads of other blogs. You’ll get noticed a bit but nothing special will happen. If you want your blog to be more successful you either have to be the first to cover a story or write remarkable, interesting and helpful articles. You’ll also need to promote your content and your brand. Think: politely contacting other bloggers in your niche (both big and small) and trying to build relationships with them. Perhaps some linkbuilding if your bothered about PR. Guest blogging if you can (gret way to gain exposure). You don’t neccesarly have to write a lot to be successful but it is best if you can try and be consistant (I’m not very good at that). Also keep pushing out pillar articles/killer content and linkbaity stuff to try and gain some traction on the social media sites.EDIT: Also with regard to your blog its self, I’ll give you a few points (obviously just my opinion).- I think you should get your own domain and move off blogger if you can.- The blog was really slow to load because of some widget, I probably would have just left.- I think the templates too clutered and should be simplified (there’s too much going on in yourside bars)- I don’t like your top banner either.  Maybe try and get a cheap logo/banner from a forum or something - I’ve never tried that though so I can’t really comment.- Highlight your RSS feed (above the fold - it’s the most important action a reader could take) and top articles in the template as well

@adamIt is my own domain just hosted in blogger.I think all i need to do is to hide the bar at the top..And i am actually customizing my widgets and i deleted many of them already because i received complaints from my readers..I am making constant changes..I just wonder why in other blogs, ithey are not affected i mean their loadig time is not affected eventhough they have lots of buttons and widgets..And i also have readers who are not having or not experiencing slow loading of my blog..Regarding the top banner, i am actually looking for some image that will suit the whole color of my blog.. It is just a temporary image..:)By the way, thank you for giving your feedback..I really need those..:)
