Google doesn't hate affiliates..  and doubt they ever will.  They hate what a percentage of affiliates do: the offers they promote, thin sites, poor quality..  content redundancy.. etc.. your making a spurious correlation in your article which just casts a negative shadow over affiliates in general.

Great article. Great point that the searchers are Googles customers, not the Advertisers.
