I have to concur with the group here. Great title and your writing style is very engaging. You make a great point too. At some point social networking is going to reach a critical mass, if it has not already. All these generic social sites are not going to be able to survive. I still believe the market is wide open for niche sites but as far as the general sites I think we have reached a point where everyone is going to choose their favorite and stop jumping around. I know I have signed up and promplty abandonded all but a few of them and those that I do frequent offer unique features and content.
