My October stats revealed that my blog commenting strategy had brought in almost 700 direct visitors resulting in a large growth of RSS subscribers (large for me anyway). In this post I lay out all the details of the strategy.

worth reading.  A well-written and thought out article.  Come on, how many of you really have a blog comment strategy?

You’re mentioning of when people post was very interesting. I’ve noticed the UK works good for me since I’m in Los Angeles and staying up late. Most US commentors tend to be asleep while you’re posting your morning topics.

Caroline’s post is the most in-depth article I’ve come across about blog commenting.

Blog commenting has been helpful and Caroline’s blog post has really pointed out some important things about it.

Caroline points out that she is in bed when some blogs are updated.  But how many people deliberately change their waking hours so that they are up when the US is up?  I am in Germany and I am 8-9 hours ahead of the US.   But I deliberately stay up until around 6.00am (German time) so that I am operating in "US time" and then sleep until the middle of the afternoon (which is morning in the US).It helps that I am a night owl!  :-)
