it depends on the site, both what was submitted and where it was submitted. I might have to register there and add to the discussion. Sphinn, I get mostly bouncers, but my site isn’t at the center of the target. StumbleUpon people I get are more likely to browse, and they also seem to subscribe and return. And on it goes, site by site.

The tighter and more focused the niche’ the more likly to convert.

Both A&T above me have stated the obvious... and yes, I get over a 90% bounce rate overall in SM.  But, when focused it can bring some much needed attention, and over course the numbers are a lot different when the submission is focused.  IE, I have no stake in a SEO, SMM, etc. type company, but I like being here to read.What about branding though?  THIS is where I think it’s at.
