There’s a handy little application in the Sphinn calendar that allows you to get the word out that you’re attending a conference.

Well I tried to add SES Travel to the calendar, filled out the form, clicked submit and ended up in December 1969 - wierd. I’ll post the issue in Danny’s "fix-it" area if I can find it. I do think it’s neat to be able to see who is attending a particular conference - great find, Kim.

I wondered why it wasn’t there already, when I was checking it out last night...I didn’t enter an event. Heck, I couldn’t even say I was going to any! :( Maybe SMX SM, NY. Got my eye on that one...

Carrie, do you want to try it again? I can’t find the listing at all. Happy to add it, just can’t see it to edit it.

I’ve just approved a bunch of event submissions that were queued. Turns out, I was looking at the wrong screen and hadn’t realized they were there. But Carrie, can’t find the travel one anywhere.

Danny, is it okay to add local events like Refresh meetings or MeetUp groups or are you trying to keep it more national?

Just tried to submit an event and got a parse error... Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /var/www/html/sp/sphinn.com/templates_c/c_ef20b2b5fff08f636a080a9108ff9329.php on line 136 Tried again and worked, but also got an odd date: "Dec 1969 3 events for this month"

Final comment... is it possible to edit an event while it’s in the approval queue?

Local events are fine for now. If we get swamped, might have to review, but so far I see no problem at all. I can’t edit an event at the moment (though by the end of the week, I should have tools for that). You might try resubmitting again -- we’re figuring out that 1969 bug.

well blast - i missed your comments Danny! I was AT SES Travel and internet connectivity was a "challenge" to say the least while I was there so didnt get to visit Sphinn ver much. Sorry about that - maybe next time! ~Carrie
