The danger is real. In my post I talk about how law suits can arise. Google may as well have kicked over a hornets nest. How will they respond - well, remember the smiley face on the old Google Toolbar where we could vote a site down or up? It is gone.
I have been working with a new semantic search engine called Yebol (www.Yebol.com). It ishard for any of these newer search engines to get traction with Google dominating the search space. So, yes I totally agree with you.
