The moderator has ties to Google and told me that some of the most popular SEO gurus have been secretly using this technique for years. All it requires is typing in a special prefix before a search term to take you to an admin area where you are able to manually adjust rankings.

I can add all kinds of 'special prefixes' to a search query and 'manipulate' the results. muuuaaah ha ha ha.... I am just such a freaking genius.

Did this person post if as a joke? Or are they truly nuts? For that matter who the hel were they talking to?

You do know about Google's Number 1 ranking penalty don't you?

The story goes that any site that is sitting in the #1 position gets penalized meaning they cannot get any higher in the serps and eventually fall from the #1 slot.

Once they have been removed from the #1 slot the penalty is lifted.

Trust me its all true.
