A short article about Using Forums for a LinkBait campaign. I have to say I can’t justify the tactic UNLESS you or the client is actually part of an ongoing community. Starting fom scratch (building a reputation) could be time consuming for a little bit of link bait.

Is it just me, or have forums been dying a slow death over the last year or so??

Very hard work to build a forum identity, and easy to FIU.

I have to agree... one would seriously have to weigh the benefits and potential ROI for such an endeavor. Like I said, if you are part of a community, great... if not..well could be time consuming... I would have to be a VERY popular board to rcoupe anything...
