from the report it took 45 min to get the emergency power back on what teh fuck happened in the battery rooms.
Some one posted a comment on vally wag that they only tested the generators once a month - when I worked for BT we tested our genset every fraking day.
Maybe they didn't have the DC plugged IN to the generator?
It's happened before.

I've never much trusted reports from "people in the know" or "sources close to" the situation. call me a skeptic...
You would think that a huge site like Craigslist, the Google of classified ads, would have backups for such an incident. Such as generators? Satellites plugging them into the net? What happens during a thunderstorm and a telephone pole gets hit down the street from them? Are they down again?
