from the report it took 45 min to get the emergency power back on what teh fuck happened in the battery rooms. Some one posted a comment on vally wag that they only tested the generators once a month - when I worked for BT we tested our genset every fraking day.
Maybe they didnt have the DC plugged IN to the generator? Its happened before.

You would think that a huge site like Craigslist, the Google of classified ads, would have backups for such an incident. Such as generators? Satellites plugging them into the net? What happens during a thunderstorm and a telephone pole gets hit down the street from them? Are they down again?
