Recent survey data: The use of online video by real estate professionals and companies is up 95% in the first half of 2009 relative to the same time period in 2008. And consumers say they want to see videos when searching for homes almost as much as they want to see photos.

I have to say it's about time.  Video is more fun than those virtual tours.  I was mesmerized when the New York Post had a video tour of Madoff's Manhattan digs.

A lady I know is making DVDs of high end houses and sending them to clients, but it would be easier to get a cheap HD camera and post HD movies on Youtube as it is now 1080. The future is here with inside of houses in super-res.
