Andy, you words are Gold.
In this case the words were Shanas, and I just happened to see she had posted it when I went to check comments on the new blog.I was actually shocked that it hadnt been submitted yet.I am a firm believer that in most of these social networks communication is the key, and it is how I have built up my own online presence, but it is time consuming.
Hey, if we stop communicating we just build firewalls around us, might as well move into a cave.I heard Bin Ladens property is for sale, but brand name valuse is pricy...Maybe the nice lasy from Zillo can knock the price down a bit..:)
Im as big a fan and proponent of social media as the next guy, but to suggest theres "only one equation" seems a bit too much, dont you think? There are countless small businesses doing well on the web who have no idea what social media is, countless retailers big and small doing well on the web without social media, etc.
I hear what your saying, Matt. The point I was trying to make is that without Social Media in your Business Plan your companys success will not be as large as it could be by adding social media to your plan. Human interaction is a must in this day. My eCommerce site was doing very well and I felt it was successful, but within a month of adding social media activity to my business plan the amount of traffic and sales increased leaps and bounds. Thats the point I was trying to make.:)Shana
