HAd this for firefox. Good now we have the list for Chrome
I'm the developer of "Chrome SEO". Great to see it listed in that article. I'm releasing a new version today or tonight that's going to include a heap of new features including a beta of the new keyword research tool. Also over the next few weeks we have a number of new features planned. Let em know is there's any features your looking for and I'll see what I can do.
Hi Sean, thanks for the update. I would love to hear more about it and share some insights/input with you. Great extension you have there, and very nice UI design use.
Sean has been talking about an update since December. Don't hold your breath.
Hi Xpose, so sorry it took sooooo long to release the latest version, which is out right now! I did promise that I'd release an update in December but as the extension became more and more popular I realised I'd need to re-write it from scratch because the original version was just thrown together and would start falling apart as we added new features.
We now have over 100,000 installs of the Google Chrome SEO Plugin and as of writing we're the 8th most popular extension for Google Chrome so it was really important that we developed a strong framework to build on. I can't say when the next version will be but I can definitely say it'll be much quicker and I'm working on it right now. We've also put a call out for developers who want to help develop, so that should speed things up.
Hello dear SEO people.
Sean has stolen my extension and he has submitted it to Google.
http://www.seomator.com/blog/our-seo-for-chrome-toolbar-was-stolen-and-attributed-by-google-to-the-thief/
He told me that his programmer stoled it and not him, but hey what the hack... his seomator stolen extension got accepted and mine not (because I hadn't had time to submit it without the status bar).
Now I see this sphinn story where I see my picture stolen again by sem-group.net !!!
http://sphinn.com/story/133870 here is my initial submission
http://www.seomator.com/ you can see the picture there. That was the initial version, before Google removed the status bar.
Do you think is normal, what is happening?
Hi Tudor Mateescu (seomator),I'm not sure why your coming out with this so bitterly, we'd already cleared the air on this when we had our email exchange and wished each other the best of luck. Yes the first version of the extension was developed by a software company in India and yes they did provide me with stolen code which was only slightly modified.
I've apologized before personally to you and I'll apologized here again, unfortunately the situation was out of our hands and as soon as it came to our attention I rewrote all the code myself so the current extension has nothing to do with your extension.
I feel your just coming out with this because your annoyed that we've had such great success, but please keep in mind there's nothing stopping you from submitting your extension to the Chrome Gallery. If it's good people will use it.
Sean is not about your extension.
It's about my picture from my extension, being stolen again on that blog!
Can't you see the post and the first page? It's the same picture.
And for some reason, I don't know why Google doesn't accept my extension for about 2 months.
And of course I'm annoyed when my extension is stolen and your success is based just on some code rewriting and design modifications. And I'm really pissed of, when I see now another of my creation (the official photo of my extension) been used as a main photo to that article.
Wouldn't you be?
Yep, I totally understand. It seems strange that they're not accepting your extension, I didn't even realize they had an approval process.
Seomator,
I have looked at your blog and the post on my blog and I really have no idea which picture you are talking about.
http://sem-group.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/seoforchrome_thumb.jpg this one (created by me - an that status bar was the initial seo for chrome status bar, before chrome decided to go with out a status bar)
you can see it here http://www.seomator.com/blog/preparing-a-google-chrome-seo-plugin/
Anyway today I'm happy, finally the extension got approved:

Now we will compete with Sean, even if we missed the start :)
