Once again, a big thank you Dave. I needed this yesterday and I am sending those from the conversation to it today :) Your blog just saved my ear hours of phone time ;)

Impressive write-up there! Lots of good stuff and a few nuggets. I for one, will go back and turn a few nobs on a few campaigns. Good work and thanks for sharing!

Interesting how my comments (which were positive) were not published.  Author is obviously afraid of giving competitors backlinks.

Excuse me Claire? I publish EVERYTHING that's not spam. Look through the blog, I've published some VERY critical comments that I'm not happy with and that I hate clients seeing but in the interest of transparency and getting the bigger picture, we do.

You're comment probably got caught in the akismet spam filter and while I try to get through it, it does produce some false positives. For that I apologize.

Oh, and FYI the comment links are all nofollowed so I don't care where they link to, it wont do YOU any good.

Finally, if you think we're afraid to link to competitors, look at the post this sphinn is about. It's linked to ALL of our competitors. We also regularly link to LOCAL competitors.

I watched one of your videos yesterday by the way, I wouldn't class you guys as direct competition. Just so you know.
