I think it’s well established now there’s a bit of a lolcats acceptance on Sphinn. Indeed, I feel we need more merging of lolcats and SEM to maybe make semcats or seocats or lolcatsem. I dunno, but you’d better learn to talk like a cat, and this article points you to a translator.

I would like to respectfully dispute the factual accuracy of this article. 1. To say that "icanhascheezburger.com started it all" is only slightly more believable than a statement such as "George W. Bush fought the British during the War of 1812". 2. Serious Cat is a short-haired cat with whitish fur. The cat in this image is clearly an impostor. Please refer to: http://www.knitemare.org/cats/serious_cat.jpg 3. "lolkittehsp33x0rz" -or whatever it’s called these days- is a direct descendant (both orthographically and linguistically) of late 90’s chatspeak, rather than some purported feline/english pidgin dialect. I am all for "lolcats" on Sphinn, but we have to do it in keeping with sacred internet traditions. Otherwise, we risk mediocrity. Hmmm, I smell a guest blog post coming on... thanks for letting me vent a little.
